1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using MockServer ("Service", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service. These terms apply to all users of MockServer, including free and paid tier users.

2. Description of Service

MockServer is a developer tool that allows users to create, manage, and share mock HTTP API endpoints. The Service includes features such as:

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice where possible.

3. Accounts & Registration

You must sign in via an authorised OAuth provider (Google or GitHub) to use the Service. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to:

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

We may remove content and suspend accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.

5. Data & Privacy

We collect and store the minimum data necessary to operate the Service, including your email address (from your OAuth provider), mock configurations, and request logs. Request log retention is limited by your tier:

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. OAuth tokens are not stored — only your email address is used to identify your account. For further details, refer to our Privacy Policy (coming soon).

6. Service Limits & Free Tier

The free tier is provided at no charge and includes up to 20 mock endpoints per account. We reserve the right to change free tier limits at any time. Paid tier details will be announced separately. We make no guarantees about uptime or availability on the free tier.

7. Intellectual Property

MockServer and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by the MockServer team and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain full ownership of any mock data and JSON payloads you create through the Service.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Use the Service at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MockServer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of — or inability to use — the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, the Service, or third parties.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
