Short version: If you subscribed to MockServer Pro in the last 7 days and are not satisfied, email us at info@mockserver.in and we will issue a full refund. No questions asked.
1. 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee
We want you to feel confident trying MockServer Pro. If you upgrade to a Pro subscription and decide within the first 7 calendar days that it is not right for you, we will refund your payment in full — no questions asked, no need to justify your decision.
This guarantee applies to both monthly and annual Pro subscriptions on their first payment. It exists because we believe in the product and want you to be able to evaluate it without financial risk.
2. What Qualifies for a Refund
A refund request qualifies under the 7-day guarantee if all of the following are true:
- Your subscription was activated within the last 7 calendar days at the time of your request.
- This is your first Pro subscription (the guarantee applies to initial upgrades, not renewals or repeat subscriptions after a prior cancellation).
- Your account is not suspended or terminated for violation of our Terms of Service.
The following are not eligible for refunds:
- Subscription renewal charges (monthly or annual renewals after the initial period).
- Requests made more than 7 days after the initial subscription charge.
- Accounts that have been suspended or terminated for Terms of Service violations.
3. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, send an email to info@mockserver.in with the subject line "Refund Request". Please include:
- The email address associated with your MockServer account.
- The approximate date of your subscription charge.
- Optionally, any feedback about what was not working for you — we appreciate it, but it is not required.
We will confirm receipt within 1 business day and process the refund within 2 business days of approval. You do not need to downgrade your account before requesting — we will handle the cancellation as part of the refund process.
4. Annual Plans & Proration
If you are on an annual Pro plan and request a refund within the 7-day guarantee window, you will receive a full refund of the annual charge, and your account will revert to the free tier.
If you subscribed to an annual plan, the 7-day refund window has closed, and you wish to cancel before your annual term ends, we offer prorated credit toward future MockServer services in the following circumstances:
- You have used fewer than 6 months of your annual term.
- There is a documented technical issue with the Service that we were unable to resolve within a reasonable time.
Prorated cash refunds for annual plans outside the 7-day window are issued at our discretion and on a case-by-case basis. Contact us to discuss your situation and we will work to find a fair outcome.
5. After the 7-Day Window
After the 7-day money-back period has passed, subscription charges are non-refundable. This applies to both monthly and annual plans. However, you are not locked in — you can cancel your subscription at any time, and you will retain access to all Pro features through the end of your current billing period.
We do not charge cancellation fees. If you cancel a monthly subscription mid-month, you keep Pro access until the end of the month you already paid for. If you cancel an annual subscription mid-year, you keep Pro access until the end of the annual term.
6. Cancellation Without a Refund
You can cancel your MockServer Pro subscription at any time from the Settings page in your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you will not be charged again, and your account will automatically revert to the free tier at period end.
Your mock endpoints, configurations, and data will be preserved when you downgrade. If you exceed free-tier limits after downgrading (e.g., you have more than 20 mock endpoints), you will be prompted to manage your endpoints before the free tier limits are enforced.
7. Refund Processing Time
Once a refund is approved, we initiate it through Stripe immediately. The time for the refund to appear in your account depends on your bank or card issuer:
- Credit and debit cards: Typically 5–10 business days, though some banks process refunds faster.
- PayPal or other payment methods: Processing times vary by provider; typically 3–5 business days.
You will receive a confirmation email from Stripe once the refund has been initiated. If you have not seen the refund after 10 business days, please contact your bank before reaching out to us — bank processing delays are the most common cause.
